Awards & Recognition

Celebrating the Impact of Community-Driven Healing

At Daughters of Both Suns, every recognition we receive represents something much greater than an award—it reflects the trust placed in us by the women, families, volunteers, community partners, and supporters we serve every day.

While awards are appreciated, our greatest achievement will always be creating safe, trauma-informed spaces where individuals can heal, grow, and access the support they deserve.

Message From Our Founder/CEO

"When I founded Daughters of Both Suns, I never imagined our work would receive awards or recognition. My hope was simply to create a place where women felt seen, heard, and supported during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Every recognition we receive is a reflection of the courage of the women we serve, the dedication of our volunteers, interns, therapists, board members, and community partners, and the belief that healing should be accessible to everyone. This isn't the finish line—it's a reminder that our work matters and that together, we can continue breaking barriers to mental health care, advocacy, and hope for generations to come."
