While honoring the lived experiences of Black and Latino communities, this event has expanded to welcome all who are seeking connection, learning, and support.

This four-part virtual workshop series explored the intersection of financial literacy and mental health for Black and Latina women. Hosted by Daughters of Both Suns in partnership with Ana Diaz of Operation HOPE, the series created space to address the emotional, cultural, and systemic factors that shape women’s relationships with money.
Across four weeks, participants engaged in guided discussions, practical tools, and reflective exercises focused on budgeting, financial confidence, money-related stress, and empowerment. Each session blended education with healing-centered practices, helping participants break silence around the gender money gap while building resilience and clarity around their financial futures.
This series emphasized that financial wellness and mental health are deeply connected—and that healing must address both.
